Our bar is open throughout the day, whether you’re stopping in after a walk or catching up with friends. You’ll find what you want behind the bar, with a wine list that mix familiar bottles with finds from smaller producers. For something special, our Black Book holds a curated selection of standout vintages and rare picks from the cellar. Alongside that, you’ll find a selection of well-kept beers and a considered spirits selection.


Garden Dining
Outdoor tables are available to book, and you’re just as welcome to wander into the garden and find a spot. Come for a drink, stay for food, and take it at your own pace.

The Bottle Shop
Enjoy The Packhorse Inn experience long after your visit. The Bottle Shop is our curated collection of wines, from everyday bottles to special finds, all available online. A straightforward way to bring a taste of what we pour here back to your own table.

Fresh from the coast, our Fisherman’s Fridays celebrate seafood at its best on the middle Friday of each month. Expect a changing menu shaped by trusted coastal suppliers, with dishes like hand-dived scallops, oysters, dressed crab and whole fish. Simply served, with optional wine pairings to match.

Once a month we roll up our sleeves and do things the old-school way: one half of a Suffolk cow, prepared in-house and served as a menu of premium cuts. No two are quite the same - expect the likes of ribeye, sirloin and picanha, simply done and paired with good wine. Bring a few friends and a healthy appetite. Served from 6pm.
Monday to Friday – 7.30am t0 11pm
Saturday to Sunday – 8am to 11pm
