Walk across the medieval Packhorse Bridge, and head out into the countryside and explore the neighbouring villages. It’s an easy place to explore on foot, then return for supper and a good night’s rest.
We’ve worked with Connock England to create Verdant, a scent inspired by the countryside around us. Fresh and green, it blends blackcurrant, English rose and fig with citrus and gentle woods. You’ll find it throughout our rooms, and it’s available to buy on there website if you’d like to take a piece of us home with you.

Yes, furry friends are welcome in all areas of our pub; however, please let us know so that we can accommodate them. They are also welcome to stay the night in the majority of our rooms at an extra charge of £25.
